Kaizer M Nyatsumba

A Chartered Director (SA), Kaizer Nyatsumba is the Executive Chairman of KMN Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd and Managing Director of KMN Consulting. He holds a PhD in Turnaround Strategy from the University of Johannesburg in South Africa, a Master of Business Administration (MBA - Management) from the University Hull in the United Kingdom and a BA in English and Philosophy from Georgetown University in Washington, DC in the USA. He also holds a series of other qualifications from institutions of higher education in South Africa and the USA, including Wits University (Post-Graduate in Economics), the University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science (Advanced Management Programme) and Harvard University (Leadership Development Diploma).

PetroSA, South Africa’s National Oil Company, as Vice President: Corporate Affairs and Shared Services

Mining giant Anglo American as Vice-President: Corporate Affairs and as Head: Corporate Marketing, and was responsible for Anglo American’s sponsorship of South Africa’s Bid for the 2010 FIFA World Cup

He has served on various Boards of Directors, among them those of Business Unity South Africa (BUSA), the South African Dentals Association (SADA), the Metal Industries Benefit Fund Administrators (MIBFA), the 2010 (World Cup) Bid Company, the Anglo American Chairman’s Fund, the Anglo American Medical Aid Scheme, Business Against Crime, National Business Initiative (NBI), Tourism Business Council of South Africa and the Council of the University of Zululand.

Apart from his home, South Africa, Dr Nyatsumba has also lived in the United States of America, where he is a Fellow of the Eisenhower Foundation, and the United Kingdom. He is a member of the Institute of Directors in South Africa (IoDSA) and the Turnaround Management Association Southern Africa.
